Audition Requirements / What You Need for Your Audition? 

Please submit two photos and one video (2 to 5 minutes long) showcasing your talent, along with your address, passport details, and contact information. For group auditions, please submit just one set of group photos and a group video

Are there any specific performing arts forms or types that I can submit for an audition in a global competition? Can social media stars submit for competition auditions?

No, we welcome all types, forms, languages, and participants from every locale and country. Our categories include music and instruments, dance, and singing or vocal performances. We warmly invite artists from diverse cultural backgrounds to showcase their unique talents at this prestigious global event. Seize this opportunity to join an extraordinary celebration that honors diversity and creativity. Can Indian or African folk dances or music be submitted for competition auditions?

Yes, we welcome submissions of all forms of music, dance, and singing for the competition auditions, including Indian and African folk dances and music. For Indian dance, we invite styles such as Bollywood, Garba, Bhangra, Lavani, Dandiya, Bharatnatyam, and others. In terms of music, submissions can include playing instruments like the Harmonium, and Tabla, as well as Indian classical music and Piano. For African dance, styles such as Bikutsi, Entog, Kete, Makossa, Mapouka, Sunu, and more are encouraged. This is an opportunity to showcase the rich cultural heritage and diversity of these art forms on a global stage

Is there any age limit to participate?

Yes, we recommend participants to be at least 2 years old. All participants who are under 21 years old require parent or guardian authorization and follow Canada Immigration's minor visitor visa process.

Is there any group members limit?   The minimum or maximum number of members in a group can apply?

No, there is no restriction on the number of members in a group. Whether you're a solo artist, a duo, or part of a larger ensemble, all group sizes are welcome. We encourage groups of any size to apply and showcase their collective talent in this competition

Can we bring our staff and crew members with us?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your staff and crew members with you. When submitting your competition audition form, please include the details of your staff members. This will ensure we have all the necessary information to accommodate your team effectively during the competition. And adding a staff member to your audition will not have any impact on the selection process. So it's safe to add

Yes, you are welcome to bring your family members with you. Please include the details of your family members when submitting your competition audition form. This will help us ensure that we have all the necessary information to accommodate your family appropriately during the event. Do I get a Canada Visa or Entry to Canada support letter if I get selected after the audition?

Yes, if you are selected after the audition, you will receive visa support and an official invitation letter to facilitate your entry to Canada. This applies not only to you as an applicant but also extends to all members of your group, your crew members, and your family members. These documents will assist in justifying your visit to Canada for the competition

When will you announce the schedule?

The schedule will be announced once the selection process is complete. Upon selection, our team will issue an invitation letter to each successful participant. This letter will contain all necessary details, including the schedule, venue information, and any other relevant instructions for your participation in the competition

What is your selection process?

Our selection process varies, as each of our client companies sets specific criteria tailored to their respective events. However, rest assured that if Bright Light Moon is unable to secure a spot for your talent within the end of the calendar year or 12 months following your submission (whether in an event or competition), your audition fee will be fully refunded. We are committed to transparency and fairness in our selection process, and our policy of refunding audition fees exemplifies our dedication to ensuring a positive experience for all participants

When will the letter be issued after the audition is submitted? How many audition rounds are there, and what is the timeline for these rounds?  

Once we receive your audition in fully paid status, most Audition Letters will be issued within 2 months of submission.

The audition process for our 2024 competition consists of multiple rounds, each with its own timeline. The results of the first round will be announced in March-April 2024. Following that, the results for each subsequent round will be revealed monthly. This structured timeline allows participants to prepare and plan effectively for each stage of the competition. After the conclusion of the 2024 audition process, auditions for the 2025 competition will begin

What is the process after I get selected and get a Visa Support letter?

After being selected and receiving your Visa Support letter, you should proceed to apply for a Canada Business Visitor Visa. Once your visa is approved, you will need to book your travel tickets. After booking, please inform us of your arrival and departure dates. It's important to note that citizens of select countries may not require a visa; if this applies to you, simply inform us of your travel dates. Providing us with your arrival and departure information is crucial, as it helps us effectively schedule your event performances and ensure everything runs smoothly

What will happen if my visa process gets delayed?

We will review such cases on a case-by-case basis. Please inform us via email at hello@brightlightmoon.com with the subject 'Visa Delayed.' Rest assured, we will accommodate you in the 2025 competition using your previously submitted 2024 audition

What does 'fully refundable in case unable to secure your talent spot' mean?

The phrase 'fully refundable in case unable to secure your talent spot' means that if Bright Light Moon fails to secure a spot for your talent by the end of the calendar year or within 12 months following your submission (whether in an event or competition), you will receive a full refund of all fees paid, including those for staff and family members. Essentially, if Bright Light Moon is unable to secure a place for your talent (solo or group), you will not lose your money; it will be returned to you in full.

This refund policy is strictly applicable in cases where Bright Light Moon is unable to secure a spot. In all other situations, such as personal reasons, accidents, health-related issues, visa complications, entry denials, and life events, the fees are non-refundable

Is there any additional fees for Visa Assistance Service?

Yes, we offer a dedicated Visa Assistance Service to facilitate the travel of our selected participants. This is a specialized, paid service provided through our esteemed official partners, ensuring a streamlined and supportive experience. Please note that the fees for this service may vary based on the partner managing your visa process. Our team is committed to providing clear guidance and support throughout your visa application journey.
